In Hawthorn we are blessed to have a myriad of vibrant community organisations such as Friends of Gardiners Creek Valley. The Friends work tirelessly re-establishing indigenous flora and habitat for indigenous fauna around Gardiners Creek in Glen Iris, with monthly working bees held on the third Sunday of each month.
I was fortunate to visit earlier this year for National Tree Planting Day and am pleased to continue to support the terrific and important work that they do.
Please find attached their December Newsletter.
They would dearly love to attract more members so if you’re interested in helping out visit or for more information visit their website http://www.gardinerscreek.org.au/.
